Read the full agreement
This agreement applies to weekly classes and private sessions provided at Forest Lighthouse by Education Somatique Bruxelles ASBL, enterprise number BE 0687.654.873, rue des Alliés 274, 1190 Brussels.
Its purpose is to support safe, informed participation and clearly explain the principal booking rules. Nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts any responsibility or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
1. Participating safely
I understand that movement classes and private sessions may involve physical effort, balance, floor work, changes of position and other movement explorations. As with any physical activity, participation may involve ordinary risks such as discomfort, strain, loss of balance, a fall or the aggravation of an existing condition.
I agree to:
- participate at a level that feels appropriate to me;
- follow the teacher’s safety instructions;
- ask for an alternative or adaptation when needed;
- stop and tell the teacher if I experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath or another concerning symptom; and
- avoid movements or activities that I believe may be unsafe for me.
If I am uncertain whether participation is appropriate for me, I will seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Classes and private sessions at Forest Lighthouse are educational practices. They do not replace medical diagnosis, medical treatment, necessary clinical follow-up or emergency care.
I may privately inform the teacher of anything relevant to my immediate safety or need for adaptation. I am not required to include medical information in this agreement.
2. Touch and hands-on guidance
Some classes and private sessions may include hands-on guidance. The practitioner will explain the proposed contact and seek my agreement.
I may decline or withdraw my consent to touch at any time, without needing to give a reason and without losing access to the rest of the session.
3. Participants under 18
A parent or legal guardian must approve participation and accept this agreement and the applicable payment terms for every participant under 18.
Participants aged 16 or 17 may attend independently once that approval has been recorded.
Participants under 16 may participate only with Forest Lighthouse’s prior agreement, the approval of a parent or legal guardian, and the presence of a responsible accompanying adult throughout the activity.
4. Weekly-class bookings
A class booking requires a valid class credit, pass, membership, confirmed payment or a complimentary entitlement approved by Forest Lighthouse.
If I cancel at least 24 hours before the class begins, the class credit used for the booking is returned.
If I cancel less than 24 hours before the class or do not attend, the class credit remains used. For an unlimited membership, the late cancellation or absence may be recorded, but it does not create a refund.
If Forest Lighthouse cancels a class, any class credit used for that booking will be returned. When a class was paid for directly, Forest Lighthouse will offer an appropriate rebooking, credit or refund.
5. Private-session bookings
A private session may be rescheduled or cancelled at least 24 hours before its starting time without losing the corresponding session entitlement.
A private session cancelled less than 24 hours before it begins, or missed without notice, remains due and is counted as used.
If Forest Lighthouse or the practitioner cancels the appointment, the session entitlement will be restored and another appointment offered. If no suitable alternative can be arranged for a directly paid standalone session, the corresponding payment will be refunded.
6. Prices and payments
The applicable price, duration, validity, renewal and commitment terms are displayed before purchasing a pass, membership, package or session.
A booking is confirmed only when the required payment or valid entitlement has been recorded, unless Forest Lighthouse has explicitly approved another arrangement.
Product-specific purchase terms remain applicable alongside this agreement. This agreement does not remove any mandatory cancellation, reimbursement or consumer rights provided by Belgian or European law.
7. Respect and responsibility
Forest Lighthouse and its teachers undertake to provide the activities with reasonable care and appropriate professional attention.
I agree to respect the space, teachers and other participants, and to promptly report an accident, unsafe situation or damage.
I remain responsible for looking after my personal belongings. Forest Lighthouse’s responsibility for loss or damage remains determined by applicable law.
8. Personal information and agreement record
Forest Lighthouse records my name, the date of acceptance and the exact version of this agreement for safety, administration and proof of acceptance. Further information is provided in the Forest Lighthouse privacy notice.
Emergency-contact information may be added separately in My Forest. Photography, communications and marketing choices are not part of this agreement and require separate choices where applicable.
This agreement remains valid until Forest Lighthouse publishes a materially revised version. If that happens, I will be asked to review and accept the new version before making another booking.
By entering my full name and confirming acceptance, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this agreement and had the opportunity to ask questions.
